Biography:
Coach's Comment:
One thing I can always say about Mayra is that she can really be a soldier when it comes to softball. We have all had the pleasure to see Mayra shuffle through the swing of the batter while playing the catcher position, withstand the throws while at first base, chase the fly balls into the depths of the outfield, and even took a hack at pitching. Also, it is very difficult to see Mayra lying back bathing in the sun while she is in the bench. Not if there are scores to take. In addition, her hitting increased tremendously making her a very surprising hitter. I speak for the team when I say that your teamwork and dedication to this team is valuable and appreciated.
